Hearing loss can cause difficulty in hearing your loved ones, work colleagues, the TV and other day-to-day noises. Here at Hearing True we understand how important it is to address hearing loss with the right hearing device for you. We have done our best to make buying the right hearing aid – at a price you can afford – a very simple process. Just follow these easy steps to get started:

1. Get Your Hearing Tested

Call us on 0800 443 274 or send us an enquiry to make an appointment to come and see one of our hearing specialists at our Christchurch clinic. We can test your hearing for free, and also offer a free programming and fitting service – all absolutely obligation free.

If you already have a hearing test, then you are welcome to come in and see us with your hearing test results and we will programme and fit your hearing aid for you – again obligation free.

2. Decide Which Hearing Device is Right for You

The two main types of hearing aids are an In The Ear (ITE) hearing aid, or a Behind The Ear (BTE) hearing aid. Both styles are the latest design and technology and are almost invisible when worn.

Both the ITE and BTE models come in a programmable option, so that the hearing aid can be programmed, (and reprogrammed later should your hearing change), to suit your specific hearing loss frequencies. If you are not sure which type of hearing device is right for you, just give us a call.

3. Purchase Your New Hearing Aid

Once you have decided on the right hearing aid, you can purchase it in 1 of 3 ways.

  1. Make an appointment with a hearing specialist and come into our Christchurch Clinic to buy directly
  2. Complete the transaction online and pay with your credit card via PayPal
  3. Call us and pay with your credit card over the phone, or pay via direct bank deposit

If you purchase a hearing aid directly, please bring your hearing test results with you to your appointment. If you purchase a programmable hearing aid through the website or over the phone, you can send us your hearing test results and we will programme your hearing aid before sending it out to you. You can send us your results either by email (audiograms@hearingtrue.co.nz) or mail us a copy at:
